Your new smartphone may be keeping you engaged throughout the day, but did you know it can be used to invade upon your privacy?

Must Check: Top 7 Android Security/Antiviurs Apps | One Must Have Any One

1. The tilt sensor can sense what youre typing on your computer: Researchers from Georgia have created a program that can turn your smartphone into a spying machine. If youve kept your phone next to the keyboard while typing, it can spy on every keystroke that you make. The accelerometer on your phone can recognise the keystrokes that you make because of the impact on the desk. The distance of the keystroke from the phone is measured to deduce what key was pressed.

2. Stealing credit card information just by being near them: Your smartphone or anyone elses for that matter, can be used to steal your credit card information. All that is required is for a phone to be near the card. Not all cards are vulnerable though, this applies to the contactless credit cards that many banks issue nowadays. The radio chips on these cards can be scanned from a distance.

3. Fake Free Charging Stations: Free cell phone charging kiosks arent all that rare nowadays. But did you know that these can be used to dupe you. A device placed inside these chargers can steal your personal data from the cell phone, including things like saved passwords, pictures etc. Over 360 people fell for this trick at the DefCon event in 2011.

4. Fake cell towers making your phone a listening device: Hackers can infiltrate mobile phones by using fake cell tower, through which they hack into the phones radio network directly. Once the connection is made, they can listen in on every call that you make or receive on the phone.

5. You can be spied on, in 3D: Theres an Android app known as PlaceRaider that secretly takes random pictures of you throughout the day. These pictures are then shipped to a central server and analysed to create a model of your office, home etc.

Losing your admin password can lead to serious circumstances. But you dont always have to lose data or call a pro to fix it.

Locking yourself out of your own computer is a pretty common occurrence. Many a user has had to endure loss of data and other issues just so that they could get back into their machines. But, that doesnt always need to happen. On the contrary, you can just hack into your Windows or Mac powered PC. Its just like locking yourself out of your own house and then climbing through an open window. Its not the easiest or most reliable of methods, but it is possible. Lets see how.

Must Check : Hack WiFi With WiFi Hacker 1.2 On Android Mobiles

Windows 7, Vista and XP

Find a free utility known as Trinity Rescue Kit (TRK). This is a donation-ware that can recover the administrator password for your computer if you happen to forget it. Further, it can empty a dying disk, recover files, find root kit malware and many other things that can save you from complete ruin.

TRK can be put on an USB drive or CD/DVD and run when a computer is being booted. Basically, you boot from the device before Windows has loaded. For this you have to change the boot device in your BIOS Setup to CD/DVD or USB, depending on what you have installed TRK on.

Windows 8

1. First you have to boot from the Windows 8 boot DVD and open up the command prompt using Shift+F10.

2. Now type, copy d:windowssystem32sethc.exe d: in the command prompt. You may get a The system can not find the specified path error message. In that case, your file system is a bit different. You will solve this by replacing d: with other drive names like C: etc. until the message disappears.

3. Next type copy /y d:windowssystem32cmd.exe d:windowssystem32sethc.exe. What this does it replaces the sticky keys feature on Windows 8 with the command prompt. Pretty neat isnt it?

4. Now restart Windows and wait for the Windows 8 lock screen to appear. Here press theShift key five times. It will bring up the command prompt.

5. Then type net user, which will give you a list of users on the PC.

6. Choose the one you want to out of these (say user_name) and write net user user_name new_password

Here the new_password will be your new password and the user_name is your username. So the command will be: net user EFY Times thepassword. If the password and username have spaces in them then the quote marks are needed.

Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Leopard, and Tiger

Insert your OS X DVD that came with your computer or use the disk you purchased to upgrade your original OS X and restart your Mac. Hold down the "option" key during the restart until you see the Startup Manager. Double-click the "Install Mac OS X" icon. Once the installer has loaded, choose utilities and then click restart.

Once the installer is done, choose Utilities and then select Reset Password from there. Follow the instructions.
After the installer loads, choose "Utilities" and select "Reset Password". Follow the instructions provided in the utility to reset the admin password.

Mac OS X Lion

Restart the Mac and press Command+R keys when the restart starts. Hold the keys down till the Apple logo appears. You should find the Recovery HD utility. Now open a terminal windows and the put in resetpassword. Now press Enter.
