Gambar yang diunggah dalam laman akun resmi Weibo Xiaomi mengisyaratkan bahwa perusahaan tersebut tengah mencoba menghadirkan headset VR.

Tampaknya, perangkat tersebut telah dikembangkan selama beberapa waktu terakhir, karena sebuah sumber menyebutkan bahwa peluncuran akan dilakukan pada 1 Agustus.

Poster gambar tersebut sebagian besar ditulis dalam bahasa Cina. Namun, terdapat tulisan yang jelas menyebutkan VR dan tanggal 1 Agustus.

Sementara itu, Xiaomi akan mulai dipasarkan beberapa hari ke depan di negara asalnya.

Berdasarkan sumber tersebut tidak didengungkan mengenai banderol harga dan detail informasi yang jelas mengenai tanggal resmi peluncurannya.

Perangkat pintar asal Cina tersebut sudah dapat dibeli secara global melalui situs e-commerce Gearbest. Gawai cerdas itu akan dipersenjatai dengan chipset Snapdragon 430, dengan perbekalan layar HD sebesar 5 inch.

Redmi 3S sendiri memiliki dua varian memori internal, yakni dengan pilihan sokongan RAM 2GB dan penyimpanan internal 16GB, serta RAM 3GB dan penyimpanan internal 32GB.

Kamera gawai itu pun akan memiliki kualitas 13MP pada kamera belakang, dan 5MP untuk swafoto dengan perbekalan daya tahan baterai 4.100mAh. Perangkat tersebut akan dihargai berdasarkan variannya masing-masing sekitar 105 (Rp 1,3 juta) USD dan 135 USD atau setara dengan Rp 1,7 juta.

Install Miphone
