alternate method to restore system if adb sideload fails and device goes to bootloop
THIS WILL RESTORE YOUR SYSTEM TO ROOTED KITKAT 2.XXXX.44 FIRMWARE
firmware download this zip first and make sure you have adb configured
if you dont have adb download this zip and extract on pc adb & fastboot
also make sure u have proper driver setup for your phone in your pc intel drivers
STEPS
1>extract the first zip and keep the files (not the folder but the FILES) in it in the adb folder.
2>boot in fastboot mode (power+volume up).
3>open cmd in your adb folder (shift+right click>choose open cmd.
4>check whether your device is being recognized by typing "fastboot devices" without quotes and hit enter.
5>if you dont get your device number being recognized please ensure you have proper adb (including fastboot) and device driver setup and repeat process.
6>if all is okay type in "fastboot erase cache" without quotes and hit enter.
7>type in "fastboot erase data" without quotes and hit enter.
8>type in "fastboot flash boot boot.img" without quotes and hit enter.
9>type in "fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img" without quotes and hit enter.
10>type in "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" without quotes and hit enter.
11>type in "fastboot reboot-bootloader" without quotes and hit enter.
12>type in "fastboot flash system system.img" without quotes and hit enter.
13>wait for process to complete,then again erase data and cache.
14>reboot device.
YOU CANNOT DIRECTLY HIT OTA OVER THIS FIRMWARE,YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY FLASH IT VIA ADB SIDELOAD ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.

TUTORIAL FLASH ASUS ZENFONE VIA ADB SIDELOAD
Langkah Pertama dalam melakukan Flash Asus Zenfone via ADB SIDELOAD
Download File-file di bawah ini :
- ASUS Driver USB
- Update Recovery
- Dummy Zip
- ADB Sideload Download disini
- Firmware Asus (cari yang sesuai dengan Type Hp yang akan di Flash) dan link download dapat di akses di Sini
Sebagai bahan, sekarang akan melakukan Flash smartphone ASUS Zenfone 5 T00J dengan jenis Firmware UL-ASUS_T00F-TW-2.22.40.540-user
Langkah Flash :
- Taruh semua Bahan dalam 1 Folder lihat contoh
- Exstract File ADB Fastboot, cari file �Open.cmd� lalu klik dua kali (gambarnya Gear)
- Berlalih ke Smartphone Dalam Posisi Off, Tekan Tombol power + Volume Up, Sampai muncul logo Android, kemudian pilih menu "recovery" (Hp akan merestart )
- Setelah itu di Zenfone 5 Anda akan muncul gambar robot android yang sedang tertidur dengan tulisan "No Command".
- Selanjutnya kita masuk ke mode Android System Recovery dengan cara menekan dan menahan Volume Down, lalu menekan tombol Volume Up(dengan tetap menahan tombol Volume Down) dan melepas tombol Volume Up saja (TombolVolume Down tetap ditahan).
- Jika berhasil, Anda akan masuk ke mode "Android System Recovery" disana akan muncul beberapa opsi seperti "reboot system now", "apply update from adb", "wipe cache", dll.
- Setelah itu, hubungkan Zenfone 5 Anda dan PC menggunakan kabel USB. (pastikan Driver nya sudah harus terinstall di PC).
- Selanjutnya pilih opsi "apply update from adb" pada "Android System Recovery" di zenfone 5 Anda.
- Jika berhasil maka akan muncul notifikasi pada PC bahwa Android ADB telah terkoneksi.
- Beralih ketik "ADB devices" pada cmd adb sideload kemudian enter ( lihat screen shot )
- selesai proses di atas selanjutnya ketik "fastboot flash recovery ww_3.23.40.52_recovery_2.img kemudian tekan enter
- Selanjutnya ketik "fastboot flash update dummy.zip" kemudian tekan enter
- selesai proses, selanjutnya masuk ke langkah terakhir yakni flash. Ketik "adb sideload UL-ASUS_T00F-TW-2.22.40.540-user.zip kemudian tekan enter (disesuaikan dengan nama stockrom yang kamu miliki) dan selanjutnya proses akan berjalan dengan sendirinya dan apabila telah mencapai 100%, maka proses flash telah berhasil. Cabut USB dari computer, Enjoy. !! :D

How to Flash ADB via sideload on Asus Zenfone 5 Very Simple
How to Flash ADB via sideload on Asus Zenfone 5 Very Simple, Tutorial - How to Flash ADB via sideload on Asus Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5, Zenfone 6 and all Zenfone supported this method. You can update your zenfone in new firmware or fix bootloop problem by using ADB fastboot tool. We will also attach a video tutorial below it will more help full to understand this tutorial.
Requirement for Flash ADB sideload
- Intel USB Driver
- Asus ZenFone Firmware (Download firmware from asus website and put into adb fastboot tool folder).
- ADB fastboot tool
How to Flash ADB via sideload
Step 1. Download and Install Intel USB Drivers on your PC.
Step 2. Download ADB fastboot tool from end of post and extract on your PC.
Step 3. Now Copy UL-ASUS_T00F-XYZ.zip (yourfilename.zip) file, that you download firmware from Asus Website in adb folder.
Step 4. Open adb folder and press SHIFT + Right Mouse Button and select open command here.
Step 5. Open your Zenfone in droidboot mode. First Power off your device then Press Power button after vibrate suddenly press Volume Up button. Now select recovery option from the menu.
Step 6. On your Zenfone Screen it show no command, Now Press Power + Volume Up Button.
Step 7. Now select apply update from adb from menu.
Step 8. Connect Zenfone with PC using data cable.
Step 9. Now type on your adb sideload UL-ASUS_T00F-XYZ.zip(yourfilename.zip) then Hit enter.
