Semenjak pertama kali dirilis ponsel/HP Asus Zenfone langsung menjadi primadona, harga murah namun spek dan desain ciamik jadi alasan banyak orang membeli ponsel Zenfone. Namun membeli smartphone dengan harga yang murah, bukan berarti biaya perawatan atau penggantian sparepart-nya akan murah pula. Seperti dilansir situs Aitinesia.com, salah seorang pembaca mereka yang bernama Dody Pakusadewo membeli Asus Zenfone 4 dengan harga standard Rp 1.100.000 di daerah tempat asalnya di Pekanbaru. Harga tersebut termasuk murah, karena seperti yang telah kita tahu, begitu terkenalnya Asus Zenfone, harganya bisa jadi melambung begitu tinggi.
Singkat cerita, device Asus Zenfone 4 milik Dody terjatuh karena kelalaiannya sendiri. Hal tersebut menyebabkan layar bagian dalam dari Zenfone 4 miliknya pecah, seperti foto di bawah ini. Device tersebut praktis tidak bisa digunakan sebagaimana mestinya. Dody sadar kalau hal itu merupakan kerusakan yang tidak ditanggung oleh garansi yang diberikan Asus. Ia pun membawa Asus Zenfone 4 tersebut ke Service Center Resmi Asus yang berada di Jl. Tuanku Tambusai No. 333A, Pekanbaru, guna meminta layar Zenfone 4 miliknya untuk diganti.
Setelah layar Asus Zenfone 4 milik Dody selesai diperiksa, sang pegawai pun langsung meminta Dody untuk membayar sebesar Rp 725.000 untuk penggantian layar Zenfone 4 tersebut. Sontak Dody kaget, karena ia tidak mengira kalau harga layar Zenfone 4 bisa hampir sama dengan harga seluruh device-nya sendiri. Redaksi Aitinesia telah mencoba menghubungi pihak Asus Indonesia untuk mengkonfirmasi hal ini, namun hingga saat ini belum ada jawaban.
Oleh karena itu, sebagai pelajaran, mungkin kita harus lebih berhati-hati dengan kondisi smartphone kita, jangan sampai terjatuh dan terendam air (khusus smartphone yang tidak memiliki fitur kedap air), berapapun harga smartphone tersebut. Salah-salah, smartphone tersebut malah bisa jadi tidak terpakai oleh kita karena biaya service atau penggantian sparepartnya yang begitu mahal.

The travelers will be able to easily stream high definition video while they are waiting.
